Hinman College is a community filled with energy, tradition, and spirit! It's home to the Public Service Learning ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ, Dorm Wars, Hysteria, and the Hinman College Council — the largest student government on campus. The five buildings in Hinman have four- and six-person suites. Hinman is lucky to have Jay Newberry, an associate professor of geography, as a mentor to all of our Hinmanites.

Hinman College Council

Hinman College is a community filled with passionate and selfless students looking to participate in service opportunities and actively encourage one another. It has ambitious residents that develop into leaders within Hinman, the University and the greater Binghamton community. The opportunities afforded to residents of Hinman are endless and extremely valuable.

The Hinman College Council (HCC) is our student-run area government, which creates and provides many of the opportunities and experiences students so passionately get involved with. HCC is a large, friendly and supportive group for emerging leaders within the hall and the community at large.

If you are interested in joining Hall or Area-wide government, or just want to participate in one of our many long standing council traditions, please come to one of our council meetings and speak with a current Council Executive member or feel free to email us at hinman@binghamtonsa.org
