Binghamton Spring Move-In Day

¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ's Spring Move-In Day will be on Saturday, January 17. Please read the information below carefully prior to move-in day:

Student Packing List

It's easy to overestimate what you need to bring. Keep in mind there are items that are not allowed in the residence halls and other items that you may want to share with your roommates. You can find a list of what’s included in your room, what to bring, what not to bring, and what’s prohibited on our College Move-In Checklist webpage.

Student Check-In

Check-In will be held in the University Union between the hours of 12 - 4 p.m. You will need to select a move-in time slot to check in. You may park in Lot Q1 during the check-in process. If this lot is full, you may park in lots O4 or T1. You may view a map of parking on the interactive ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Campus Map.

In the University Union, you will be able to check in to both your on-campus housing and your Orientation program. You will also receive your ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Student ID Card; please ensure your photo is uploaded ahead of time. Offices focused on student success and support will also be tabling and are ready to speak with new students about their transition to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ.

After you have completed check-in, you will be directed to your residence hall’s unloading location and given a parking pass to use for the duration of moving in. Once the student has completed their move-in, the car will need to be moved to a normal parking lot.

B-Welcome Crew

There will be big, green laundry carts available to load your belongings into. We will have student volunteers (B-Welcome Crew) on hand to help with loading and unloading items. Please note that expensive and/or large items will not be handled by our student staff; while they can assist, please ensure you have the ability to move these items with the use of the available green carts. Additionally, the student must be present for this move-in process and should not leave their belongings unattended or with the B-Welcome Crew to move in on their own.

Complete a Room Condition Report

Once you're in your room, you will need to submit an online as soon as possible. This documents the condition of the room and furniture at the time of move-in and is used to determine damage billing when you move out. It must be filled out correctly to ensure you will not be held responsible for a pre-existing condition in the room. Check with staff if you have problems submitting this report or need a computer.

B-Welcome Events

Join us for activities, events, open houses and fun as we welcome all our students to campus! B-Welcome Week runs from move-in through the first week of classes. You can view the full schedule on our B-Welcome webpage
