of ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ's 80th Anniversary.
From UConn Provost to Binghamton: Anne D’Alleva Brings 25 Years of Higher Education
Leadership
Anne D’Alleva arrives at Binghamton after having spent 25 years at the University of Connecticut,
most recently serving as UConn’s provost. She has an extensive background in higher
education administration and began her career as a faculty member with joint appointments
in art history and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies.
From the Bronx to Harvard and Columbia: D’Alleva’s Academic Journey
A native of the Bronx, N.Y., D’Alleva was raised in Pelham, N.Y. She is a graduate
of Harvard University and earned an MA and a PhD in art history from Columbia University.
Forward Together: D’Alleva’s Vision for Binghamton’s Future
D’Alleva’s vision for the University’s future is outlined in the Forward Together
strategic plan, which focuses on research, scholarship, creative activities, graduate
education, external partnerships, and enhancing Binghamton’s sense of belonging and
spirit.
