Supporting Teaching Faculty & Research
Learn how Harpur College supports the expertise and dedication of our faculty through funding, mentoring, and recognition for research and teaching excellence. Through the Faculty Research and Subvention Fund Program, faculty can secure support for new research projects, creative endeavors, and scholarly work across every discipline. Pre-tenure faculty can also pursue the Dean's Teaching Release Award to help advance their path toward tenure, while the Visiting Speaker Fund helps departments bring outside scholars and artists to campus. Beyond funding, the Dean's Office provides guidance on Harpur Academic Honesty procedures, teaching resources, and awards that recognize Harpur faculty for outstanding teaching and mentorship.
