¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ's Decker School of Nursing invites you to attend our Spring 2026 Preceptor Appreciation Day, Managing the Patient on Controlled Substances, to recognize your critical role in providing clinical experiences for our nurse practitioner students.
Open only to Decker preceptors, the event will be offered via Zoom. It runs from 7:45 a.m. to noon; registrants can check in as early as 7:15 a.m.
This year, we are excited to welcome back Sally K. Miller, PhD, APRN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FAANP, as our speaker. Miller is a nurse practitioner with 33 years of experience and four national board specialty certifications, including psychiatry/mental health across the lifespan and family practice. She is also a clinical professor at Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions in Philadelphia and a sought-after presenter at national conferences and continuing education events.
The Preceptor Appreciation Day is provided through ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ's Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) program grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Nursing Continuing Professional Development
This event has been approved for 3.75 contact hours of nursing continuing professional development.
¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences is approved with distinction as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Northeast Multistate Division Education Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
