Credit-Earning Research Assistantships in Gender, Conflict and Human Rights

Description:

I am recruiting research assistants to help me develop and test a qualitative (thematic) coding system for a large number of human rights advocacy documents, and then perform a quality check on coding. The focus of the project is on conflict-related sexual violence against men and boys.

This research assistantship will be for the Fall 2026 semester. Hours/credits earned can be worked out on an individual basis.

Pre-requisite coursework/experience: No prior skills or coursework required, but upper-level coursework in the social sciences is preferred. Students will be trained in the project and the coding system, Maxqda. I will purchase your Maxqda subscription.
