Wellness Assistants

Wellness Assistants play a crucial role in helping students acquire knowledge and develop life skills that empower them to make informed decisions about their health, well-being, and safety.

  • Collaborate with Residence Life staff to enhance student and campus health and well-being.
  • Plan and execute educational programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Incorporate the wellness wheel which includes eight wellness components: Emotional, Environmental, Financial, Intellectual, Occupational, Physical, Spiritual, and Social as a guide in executing their roles and responsibilities.

Wellness Mantra: Balance is key. It's okay to feel stressed sometimes—it's a part of life. We all overthink or feel overwhelmed at times, both physically and emotionally. What matters most is finding a balance: getting things done while also allowing yourself time to rest. Taking breaks is not only okay, it's necessary.
